Top 3 Road Safety Hazards in Cebu City

According to the Cebu City Traffic Operations Management (CITOM), the current top three Road Safety hazards in Cebu City are:

1) Reckless driving, which includes drunk driving, not following road rules and overtaking at blind curves,

2) Improper embarking or disembarking of commuters or not loading and unloading of passengers at designated stops,

3) Pedestrians jaywalking or crossing at non-pedestrian lanes.

This year, MAPFRE Insular invites everyone to run for Road Safety awareness and education. These three Road Safety hazards are the three key messages of the Run for Road Safety 2014. Join us in Plaza Independencia, Cebu, as we run each kilometer campaigning for safer roads for our community.
